We are a brand created by women, for women. In the rush of today’s world, we often forget how important we are — as well as the significance of our bodies. Journey for Relief was created to help women reconnect with their inner selves — to meet themselves and their bodies away from work, stress, and everyday life. It is also a space that can help you find comfort and soothe yourself. The journeys take the form of psychological and psychosomatic workshops. The trip takes place in the heart of Iceland, offering incredible views and additional excursions.

Our philosophy
Journey for Relief was born out of a deep understanding that the body constitutes a map of the mind, and the journey into its depths can bring you relief.
We create immersive retreats in the raw, healing landscapes of Iceland — spaces where adult women can reconnect with themselves, uncover the wisdom stored in their bodies, and gently release what no longer serves them.
Our workshops are grounded in the principles of Polyvagal Theory, hypnotherapy, and psychomotor training. Through these modalities, we guide you to access your nervous system’s innate capacity for regulation, safety, and restoration.
Each retreat is a carefully held journey — combining science-based tools with deep presence, body-awareness practices, and therapeutic exploration. We invite you to slow down, feel deeply, and rediscover the map within.
This is a space for transformation. For relief.

Meet the team

Anna brings a grounded, compassionate presence to every retreat. With a deep background in psychology and trauma therapy, she specializes in the intricate connection between the body and the mind. Her work is rooted in Polyvagal Theory, which shapes her approach to healing as a journey toward safety, balance, and embodied resilience.She believes that true relief begins when we listen to the body — its signals, its stories, its silences.Outside of her therapeutic practice, Anna finds nourishment in travel, long mindful walks, meditation, painting, and getting lost in a good book. Her guiding principle, both in life and in work, is simple yet profound: balance.

Justyna is a facilitator with a background in philosophy, pedagogy, and psychology. She is inspired by the teachings of David Hawkins and Adam Krasowski, focuses on emotional release and self-awareness. Deeply connected to nature, she integrates breathwork, movement, and folk traditions into her workshops. With a passion for theater, singing, and dance, she creates safe and energizing spaces for personal growth and authentic expression.

The 7-day journey invites you into a slower, more nurturing rhythm — offering the gift of time to truly rest, restore, and reconnect with yourself. With more spaciousness, you can gently sink into the full therapeutic experience: psychological workshops, mindfulness practices, psychosomatic movement, and deeply soothing hypnotherapy sessions.
This extended retreat also allows you to explore more of Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes — not in a rush, but with presence. You’ll have the chance to feel the island’s quiet magic, breathe in its wild beauty, and absorb the calm strength of its elements.

The workshops will also include elements of yoga and hypnotherapy, all aimed at helping you release stress, gain perspective on surrounding problems, and feel better.
